Welcome to the 2012 Girls Competitive Soccer Team, a dynamic and ambitious group of young athletes dedicated to excellence on and off the field. Under the expert guidance of our experienced coach, we are committed to fostering a love for the game through skillful play, teamwork, and strategic development.Coaching Philosophy:Our head coach brings a wealth of experience from his background in high school coaching (JJ Pearce Boys) and skills training. His coaching philosophy revolves around three core principles:Passing - Emphasizing precise and effective ball movement to maintain control and create scoring opportunities.Possession - Focusing on maintaining possession of the ball to dictate the tempo and flow of the game.Proper Play - Teaching the fundamentals of the game to ensure each player understands their role and responsibilities on the field.Achievements:Last year, our team showcased their talent and hard work by finishing 2nd in their division in the Pre-ECNL league. This impressive accomplishment reflects our dedication and competitive spirit. With the core group of players returning this season, we are poised to build on this success and aim even higher.Team Development and Training:Our coach's commitment to the team extends beyond regular practices:Rainout Contingencies: In case of inclement weather, the coach arranges indoor practice sessions or hosts film sessions to review game footage and provide tactical education.Professional Background: As a Physical Education teacher in the Farmers Branch ISD, the coach is skilled in teaching and mentoring young athletes, fostering both their physical and personal growth.Practice Location: Our practices are held at the Lewisville Texans Fields, located at 1021 E Main St, Lewisville, TX 75057. Monthly Combines: We hold monthly combine practices with the club's ECRL and ECNL teams (Jon Hopkins), offering our players the opportunity to train alongside and learn from higher-level competitors.Recruitment:We are currently looking to add a few more dedicated players to our roster.
